Tips & tricks:
Make sure that the air brake system is depressurized before replacing the air tank.
To ensure that no foreign objects can get into the lines, take care that these areas are thoroughly cleaned before disconnecting the lines.
Furthermore, you must observe the general safety instructions for the compressed air brake system and wear protective equipment.
Before installing the tank, make sure that there are no foreign bodies in the air tank, that all connections or drain valves are mounted and secure and that the transport protection is removed.
We recommend that you replace the brackets, straps and nuts used for fastening. The air tank must be installed in the correct position and without any stresses acting on it, and you must use sealing rings or sealing tape for the connections. Screws, connections and hoses should be tightened according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
Before driving off, check whether the compressed air brake system is airtight with no air leaking out (lines, screw connections).
