Once again, the year is coming to an end. So it’s time for a short review of this exciting and successful truck racing season. For the fourth time in a row, Sascha Lenz from SL TruckSport 30 relies on the high product quality by DT Spare Parts. He receives further support from the Parts Specialists, who are very familiar with the products from DT Spare Parts and have a few tips at hand.
The season started with the opening race at the Misano World Circuit in Italy. The race truck drivers had to master a total of eight different tracks in eight different countries. In the final month of September, a total of three races took place. The third race of the year was to be staged at the Hungaroring in Hungary, but due to construction and renovation work, the event was cancelled and the drivers were able to show their skills in Poland.
A new highlight on the racetrack
For this season, Sascha Lenz has given his truck a fresh visual update. His MAN race truck is a direct eye-catcher when he heats through the curves for his SL TruckSport 30 team. The colour is new, but the driver’s outstanding performance remains. In the last race at the end of September in Jarama (Spain), Sascha Lenz secured second place on the podium. This successful finish was rewarded with third place in the Goodyear FIA ETRC Driver Ranking. With 274 points, he defended his bronze status from the 2022 season. Furthermore, Sascha Lenz was awarded “Driver of the Season”. Sascha Lenz is a true sportsman who works hard for his success but always has an open ear for other drivers and teams and supports them. Parts Specialists present at the Nürburgring
At the 36th International ADAC Truck Grand Prix in July 2023 at the Nürburgring, the Parts Specialists participated with their own stand. Those who were brave enough could play the table football duel “Beat Lars” and win great prices.
