The racing trucks of the participants in this year's FIA European Truck Racing Championship are already in the starting blocks. Vice European Champion Sascha Lenz will be there again. This season also, the experienced racing professional and his team from SL Trucksport 30 are relying on spare parts from the DT Spare Parts brand.
The international Parts Specialists team from Diesel Technic has been supporting the vice champion of the 2021 Truck Racing European Championship since 2020 and has been able to experience one or two victories up close. Last year, the racing driver was able to secure eleven podium places in his MAN truck.
Sascha Lenz is a truck idol you can touch
With the "Truck Racing Experience", members of the Parts Specialists Club have the chance to experience a racing weekend on site accompanied by the Parts Specialists, to look behind the scenes together and to meet Sascha Lenz personally.
Truck racing fans become a member of the Parts Specialists Club by registering in the Premium Shop (premiumshop.dt-spareparts.com) and subscribing to the newsletter, for which they receive 750 crown points directly for their welcome gift. Additional crown points can be collected by purchasing products from the DT Spare Parts brand. Users with 5,000 crowns and more will be automatically invited to the Parts Specialists Club and Facebook group.
After some races fell victim to the Corona pandemic in 2020 and 2021 and the Digital Racing Challenge was launched by the European Truck Racing Association (ETRA) instead, truck racing enthusiasts should now get their money's worth.
The racing calendar this year is full
The official test race took place in Most on 18th and 19th April. The opening race of the 2022 season will be at the Misano World Circuit in Italy on 21st and 22nd May. Further races then follow on the Hungaroring/Hungary, the Slovakia Ring/Slovakia and the Nürburgring/Germany as well as in Most/Czech Republic, in Zolder/Belgium and in Le Mans/France. The competitors will have their last race of the FIA ETRC in Jarama/Spain on 1st and 2nd October. At the event at the Nürburgring on 16th and 17th July all truck racing fans have the chance to get to know the Parts Specialists at their own booth.
