The 4.67601 leaf spring is inserted bilaterally and consists of a flat, arch-tensed profile. Leaf springs are generally among the most important, bend-loaded springs and are most frequently used in air-sprung lorry solid axles and also take on the task of wheel guidance. The leaves consist of several layers, whereby an inherent damping occurs as a result of the friction in the spring. They are attached using centre bolts, spring clamping collar and hinged baseplates.
